10K Yellow Gold Framed Antique Carved Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant

This is an antique Victorian 10K etched gold framed carved shell cameo brooch. The etched frame has an oval shape. The beautiful woman with her wavy hair is pushed back with a band. There is a bail that folds down and pulls up in case the cameo is to be worn as a pendant rather than a brooch. The coloring on the cameo is beautiful going from a dark peach at the upper right to nearly white on the left. The pin back is stamped 10K. The brooch measures 1-1/2 inches tall and 1-1/4 inches wide. It is in superb condition.
